Wake up sunshine,
I have this new photo thing that I’ve been playing around with. Cute, huh?
“What shall we do, all of us? All of us passionate girls who fear crushing the boys we love with our mouths like caverns of teeth, our mushrooming brains, our watermelon hearts?” – FLB
Bunny ears? I’ve always been an Olsen twin fan.
Ughh, I need some coffee…
Have a great Wednesday,
Good Morning Girls (and Boys)
The models and I had a very fun weekend shooting more Rag Trade Vintage with bubbles and delicious cupcakes for props that we devoured afterwards. (look for plenty more Ebay listings posted later today in the shop)
Here’s one of my favorite pictures from the shoot:
I have decided that Rag Trade Vintage will now carry a line of vintage aprons (available next week in the shop)
Romeo and Juliet, found here, The Dream Walking Society.
If you haven’t seen this, you should watch it.
My Labor Day Playlist:
Ani Difranco – Both Hands
Kate Nash – Mouthwash
The Pixies – Where is My Mind
Elliot Smith – 401597
Madeleine Peyroux – Between the Bars
Denali – Hold Your Breath
Enjoy relaxing music, take a bubble baths, make some tomato soup, and have a great labor day. xoxo
Alice, Ive been waiting for you’re trailer to come out for months. Lets hope Tim lives up to our expectations, but as I can see from the trailer he already is fulfilling them.
Paper Heart just looks like an absolutely adorable chick-flick-make-your-heart-melt-fall-in-love-film and Ill probably go see it with all of my sisters licking raspberry lollipops and worrying too much about how my hair looks.
Where the Wild Things Are is one of those movies that will probably make you think and dream more.
If you haven’t heard, The Impossible Project has teamed up with U.O. to bring back Polaroids. Polaroid announced in 2008 that they were ceasing production of instant film. Photographers all over the world (like myself) mourned and hoped that someone would do something about it.
Here are some favorites:
Available are these “Without you I am Nothing” shirts to help support The Impossible Project, and all proceeds from every sale go towards running the factory.
Have a good Friday! ♥
Create Your Own Box
Cardboard cigar box.
Hot Glue Gun. ♥
Embossed paper doily place mats – you might need 3-4.
Lace, cut-outs, ticket stubs, anything your heart desires.
1) Paint the cardboard box – you may want 2-3 coats of paint on there
2) Carefully cut the place mats to fit on the sides of the box and glue down
3) Decoupage the lace down, and anything else you want to design your box with
4) Use the paints to add a little finishing touch
5) Ta-da! You’re done. Now fill up with everything you want to keep near your heart. Especially old love letters, my favorite.
Note: While reading though them make sure to listen to good music for the full effect.
Alright ladies, (sorry, no gents clothing yet). Register your Eaby accounts and clear out some closet space. Rag Trade Vintage clothing will be available as of SEPTEMBER 1st!
I’m very excited, lots of work to do. I apologize in advance if this blog is lacking over the next few days, and now you should know why.
Gear up, and i’ll write soon.
